All organisations strive to maximise their productivity and performance.  Research by organisational psychologists has shown that performance is a function of many variables including a range of job-related, workplace and personal factors. Examples of these factors are workload, working conditions, employee empowerment, initiative and emotional intelligence.

Management attempts to achieve an optimum mix of these factors to maximise productivity in their organisation.  An imbalance in these factors can have adverse impact on the morale and productivity of the organisation and the physical and psychological (or emotional) health of employees.

Through our Workplace Wellbeing Audits, we will:-

  • Assess and provide reports on job-related, organisational and individual factors which impact on wellbeing and performance, for individuals and divisions in your organisation and for the organisation as a whole

  • Identify opportunities and strategies in which occupational characteristics should be changed and organisational culture improved, with a view to improving wellbeing and performance

  • Identify opportunities for training and coaching employees and managers in coping with adverse job-related and organisational factors, stress and anger

  • Identify opportunities for training and coaching employees and managers in improving their level of emotional intelligence, resilience, motivation, creativity, emotional self-awareness and emotional expression and learning to be more positive in accepting change and their thinking

  • Identify opportunities for training and coaching managers in the strategies and leadership skills to manage for optimum performance and health

  • Meet the organisation's duty of care and risk-assessment responsibilities

Stress audits identify workplace stressors for a team, division, groups or entire organisation.  This information then assists in developing effective strategies for managing and preventing stress in that environment.  Our psychologists will prepare audit reports with results and recommendations.

A stress assessment can also be undertaken for an individual whose performance and wellbeing is adversely affected by stress.  We will identify the issues involved and provide recommendations for effective workplace stress prevention and management.
